Through decades of rapid development, China has emerged as a global leader in the manufacturing industry, with an independent, complete system that spans all fields of manufacturing, thereby laying a solid foundation for China’s social and economic development. However, China is still in the early stages of industrialization, and lags far behind developed countries. In fact, China’s manufacturing industry is large in scale but not strong, lacks the ability to develop innovations independently, and relies too heavily on core technologies and high-end equipment imported from foreign countries.
